Big update today with all the photos from these last few days which I didnt had the time to update the blog.

Finally the pladur guy showed up again and finished the ceiling of the live and control room. It still needs to fill in the joints.

The roof is finished and joints painted with a rubber ink to be sure no water comes in.

Toillet back wall is ready and looking good

In addition the water deposit for the toillet arrived and was installed yesterday

Plumbing for all the toillet and AC drain is complete.

Electrical Box wall is filled with concrete and finished.

Covering of the AC ducts is complete both in the live room and in the control room.

A whole new batch of Rockwool as arrived

Spread the control room cabling ditch sideways to connect to the side racks in the studio desk.

Construction in the toillet goes on, no pics this time.

Everything now seems slower as the big changes are done, and passing cables and tubes takes time and doesnt have much to show.

Small update today, the electrician is busy passing all the tubing needed for the lighting and light switches for the control room and live room.
The construction workers made some finishing touches to one of the toillet walls:

They also covered some of the AC tubing in the live room that are within the walls

We've been busy with the tubing for the electrical distribution and AC.
Last night me and the AC guy stayed till late night passing the tubes and drains.

Ooops first hole was too low...

This is the end of our work on the control room for the day, after this the constructor workers will be opening a place in the wall for the wires to go within.

 This is an example of a drain for one of the ACs with the rubber tubing all around it when it crosses a wall to avoid sound leaking in or out.

The Live room is also done, but this one already has the holes in the wall for the tubes to go through.

Plumbing in the toillet is done including the water drain for the shower. It is now covered in concrete.

We had to place a very long tube for the drain of the Live room unit to reach the toillet where the water is drained

Power tubes for the lighting of the live room and control room is also done. Need to pass the electrical cable through them after.

Tubing for the light switches is passed for the control room and live room.

The structure for the ceiling in the corridors, control room and live room is done.
The light fixture structure for the ceiling in the corridors is also complete.

Toillet tubing and water deposit for the toillet that will be embeded in the wall is also complete, next step is finishing up the walls.

They are finishing the door frame for the vocal booth. It is now the exact measures for the frame we are planning to put for this glass door.

Lots of people at the studio today.
The constructor, the Designer, Head Electrician, Head Carpinter, Helpers, Workers the whole bunch.
Lots of things to decide and to get done.
Meanwhile the Ceiling on the corridors gets the structure done.

The light fixture will be a continuous light beam going all the way through the corridor around the corner into the rest area.

The ceiling structure for small the resting area is also nearly done.

Electricity is also connected, or at least thats what EDP says. We will give it a test the next couple of days when the wiring is done.

The space in the wall for the electrical box is opened and tubing is passed for the control room.

Markings for the Electrical box have been made and a ditch in the floor is being opened to pass the cabling. I have no ideia why didnt they do that before applying the floor...

The drywall and rockwool ceiling is being applied in the Control room. Its almost done.

Continuing the work on the ceiling. The live room has all the rails that will support the Drywall.
It will be filled with rockwool between the Drywall and the metal

Today they are starting the supports for the control room ceiling

Construction has also been going on in the the Toillet walls
